RSP bats are manufactured and distributed by Pro Bats LLC in upstate New York.
Each RSP bat is made from professional grade hard sugar maple harvested from timber grown in the northern hardwood forests ranging from Pennsylvania to New England. Based on our many years in the wood bat business, we have access to the finest wood available to any bat manufacturer in the country. Our wood is hand split rather than cut with a saw. This is the best way to assure straight grain, which is the key to pop and durability. We have been around the wood bat business for many years, and are very familiar with most bat manufacturers. I can honestly say that no one matches the quality and consistency of the wood we use to make our bats.
Our manufacturing process is state of the art. Based on over 15 years of trial and error, I can confidently say no one makes a better bat. Don't be fooled by advertising and hype. Read our testimonials and talk to our customers. The proof is in the performance of our bats over a period of fifteen years.
Each piece of wood undergoes stringent quality control inspections throughout the entire manufacturing process. Particular attention is paid to the grain in order to insure uniform strength and durability throughout our entire line of bats.
RSP bats are manufactured using a unique cupping process that allows us to guarantee the weight of each bat to within ½ ounce. We are leading the field in this aspect of bat making. Continuing to meet your custom needs, we offer 26 colors providing you with literally hundreds of possible combinations of barrel and handle schemes.
The finish we apply to our bats has no equal on the market today. Four coats of lacquer are hand sprayed onto each bat, creating durability and looks that just can’t be beat. Up to two lines of text are laser engraved onto your bat for that final personal touch. Most importantly, every RSP bat is made from one grade of lumber; Pro Stock Maple. Whether you are a beginner, or at the top of your game, you can be assured that your bat is made from the finest materials available. What does all this mean to you the customer?
You now have access to the same materials and manufacturing process used by professional players.
