Back from another trip to the MSBL World Series.  We played in the Father/Son Federal Division this year and came oh so close to making the Championship Game.  We gave up a 6-3 lead in the seventh inning of the semifinal game losing 7-6.  Always great to spend...

Our local season ended three weeks ago.  We played in a Labor Day Tournament in Buffalo and now comes the three week stretch until we head to Arizona for the MSBL World Series.  We will play in the father/son division again this year.  I really like this time...

We have discontinued our line of Ash Bats.  The quality was absolutely top of the line, but quite honestly, the demand was very low.  There were still some traditional "old school" players who would order an ash bat from time to time, but not nearly enough...

During the course of our fifteen years in business we have had to raise our prices four times.  Unfortunately, this is one of those times.  Normally I apologize to my customers when this happens.  As a long time player, I am very aware of the every increasing...

I feel compelled to write a little bit about our company today.  I continue to see new bat companies coming onto the scene making wild claims and undercutting each other's prices week after week.  Having been in the business for a little over fifteen years,...

I just got back from the MSBL Caribbean Championship in Puerto Rico.  Tip of the hat to Rich Rosenblum who organized and ran a great tournament.  He has been doing it for 21 years and has it down to a science.  The weather was phenomenal.  I left the Buffalo,...

I'm playing in the 60+ Division of the Puerto Rico-Caribbean Championship.  This will be my first time playing in this tournament, as well as my first trip to Puerto Rico.  I'm looking forward to the competition and beautiful sights.  Pro Bats will be sponsoring...

I'm back from participating in the Father/Son Division of the MSBL World Series in Phoenix, AZ.  What a great trip. A couple of us arrived a few days early and played a little golf before the start of the tournament.  We competed in the Federal Division this...

We are heading back to the MSBL World Series in three short weeks.  Last year was the first time in 20 years that I did not attend.  Needless to say I'm very excited to get back to sunny Arizona.  We will play in the Father/Son Federal division as the Pro Bats...

The answer is yes. Generally speaking, a bat with a large or medium handle is more durable than one with a thin handle. The diameter of the barrel must also be factored into the equation. The most durable combination is a small barrel and a large handle....

This is a personal preference for sure. Let me explain the difference. If you order a bat from us that you would like to be 33” long and weigh 30 ounces that is what you will get whether it is cupped or not. We factor the weight of the wood billet needed...

Absolutely. All things considered, the exact same model with a -3 drop weight is more durable and has more pop than a -4 drop weight. Again it is all about the weight of the billet used to start the process. The heavier the wood billet, the more durability...
