It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Dennis Viegas. I can hardly believe it. I first met Dennis ten years ago at the MSBL World Series. He bought a couple of bats from me and we of course talked baseball. We met every year after that including last year where I picked his brain about the Father/Son Division. This year we finally put a Father/Son team together playing in the same division as Dennis. I was so looking forward to seeing him again. I have played against him in the past in the 50+ wood bat division and was amazed at his grace and speed. What a player! His baseball skills paled in comparison to Dennis the person. A baseball guy all the way who exuded class and confidence. I will miss you my friend.Tags:
