RSP bats are manufactured and distributed by the Pro Bats Company in upstate New York
Each RSP bat is made from professional grade hard sugar maple harvested from timber grown in the northern hardwood forests ranging from Pennsylvania to New England. Once the wood is harvested, it is cut into blocks and vacuum dried to 6 - 8% moisture content assuring maximum uniformity, stress reduction, and color integrity in each and every bat. Each piece of wood undergoes stringent quality control inspections throughout the entire manufacturing process. Particular attention is paid to the grain in order to insure uniform strength and durability throughout the entire line of bats. RSP bats are manufactured using a unique cupping process that allows us to guarantee the weight of each bat to within ½ ounce. We are leading the field in this aspect of bat making. Continuing to meet your custom needs, we offer 26 colors providing you with literally hundreds of possible combinations of barrel and handle schemes. The finish we apply to our bats has no equal on the market today. Four coats of lacquer are hand sprayed onto each bat creating durability and looks that just can’t be beat. Up to two lines of text are laser engraved onto your bat for that final personal touch. Most importantly, every RSP bat is made from one grade of lumber; Pro Stock Maple. Whether you are a beginner, or at the top of your game, you can be assured that your bat is made from the finest materials available. Since we control the entire manufacturing process, from the harvesting of the timber to shipping the bat to your door, I can confidently say we will put the highest quality bat on the market today into your hands. What does all this mean to you the customer?
