| You may have noticed that prices have gone up slightly recently. The entire industry evolves around the wood supply. The price of quality wood has jumped quite a bit this past year. Twenty-two percent to be exact. I did raise prices slightly, but decided to lower my profit margin rather than pass on the entire price increase to my customers. So although the bats are a bit more costly, the quality is as good as ever. I will never compromise on quality. We have found another supplier who consistently produces outstanding wood for our production. It is expensive, and requires quite a bit of money up front, but worth every penny when it comes to supplying you the customer with the best product possible. We have been doing this for ten years, and have seen many bat companies come and go. I have said it over and over again; you get what you pay for in this business. I think we have done a very good job over the years of consitently producing quality bats and backing it up with a very high level of customer service. So am I blowing our own horn a bit? I guess I am but I feel it is important to let all our customers know that we continue to look at the business through the eyes of a player. When you buy a bat from us you can be assured that we have not cut corners. |
